“With artistic versatility and seductive creativity, Feriante is the Picasso of the guitar.”
- Citysearch
His musicianship is sensitive, articulate, pleasing and entirely in accord with his own music. One does not always find this sort of harmony on the concert platform.
- R.M. Campbell, Seattle PI Music Critic
Feriante’s music is full of lyricism and reflection… I’m not surprised he’s gaining national and international recognition.
- Peter Donnelly, Pres., Seattle Corporate Council for the Arts
Extraordinary touch… exquisite musicianship, authenticity and innate sense of taste.
- Willamette Week, Portland
“Andre is my favorite performer in the whole world! ... When I first heard him play, I could not believe what I was hearing and was immediately reminded of Segovia in his style and presentation.”
- Philanthropist and Arts Patron Harriet Bullitt
- Quoted in Seattle Times
Andre Feriante’s lyrics have been compared to Leonard Cohen, his sound to Andres Segovia and his looks to a genetic mix of Andre Agassi, Nicholas Cage and Eminem.

Andre Feriante brings dynamic flair to both performances and work in schools. His String Stories program introduced students to multiple instruments, many of which they were seeing for the first time. His playfulness and positive energy really engaged students and held their interest. His last residency reached seven schools and nearly a thousand students. Whether working one on one, in smaller class groups or for full auditoriums, Andre is masterful at engaging students of all ages. In the many years he has been performing at Icicle Creek, he has always been a crowd favorite. A virtuoso flamenco guitarist, his new interpretations on non-traditional string instruments provides a captivating show. His ability to develop creative collaborations with other musicians stands out and makes every show unique.

From his guitar to your heart.
- Starla Smith, AOL Cityguide
“As the beautiful melodies of Spanish guitar introduced the musician, the audience sat spellbound. One man sat with eyes closed and a soft smile on his face, the music washing over and through him. Others sat in silence, eyes locked on the guitar as Feriante’s fingers danced across the strings. The stress of the day, the problems of the world, all melted away to be replaced by the peaceful, emotional music.”
